Erin came to visit last weekend. While it’s rough living 3 hours from your best friend, I’m just thankful it’s only 3 hours, considering we’re each about 1,000 miles from the city we met and developed our friendship in.

But the nice thing about living in a beach town is that when people come to visit, they want to go to the beach. Sometimes, it’s so easy to get caught up in daily life and we forget to enjoy ourselves. Tom and I have only been to the beach 3 times this year and it’s the middle of July!! It doesn’t help that Tom works weekends and is taking a full load of classes this summer.

So yay! for Erin visiting. and yay! for going to the beach. My favorite things, all at the same time :)
